SO.... stock the S2k can go one miles per hour faster... woot... which you cant chainge unless you tear appart your car. change the ECU on the evo, and the only limit is the engine and your abilities.
Both of them can be modded to be conciderable faster, but the evos base is always going to be better because:
A.) Bigger Engine
B.) Bigger Gears
C.) Bigger Suspension

All tuning does is tap into the unused energy and potential an engine has, it doesnt make it faster, it only makes it more effecient.
And the Evo engine has alot more potential to untap than an S2K.

S2000 is good because
A.) Looks
B.) Engine size/stats ratio
C.) Aerodynamics

The S2000 is a sports car, the Evo is a toned down racecar. if you beat an Evo you had alot under the hood (and the evo had little) not just a little something, or you were racing an lancer ES, OZ, or RA with a spoiler, there are more of them than Evos, and evolution owners hate it for the reps it gives them when they get killed in races.

Im sure an S2000 could beat an evo, but not without conciderable mods, luck, and a horrible driver in the mitsu. Show me the evo, and the S2000.
Both are fun to drive, but there is a big gap in performance

wells hey the swap i got is an f22c1 if you know what that is its an 2005 engine and wells i still got the old tranny and wells o2 parts in it and wells its kinda hard to explian but hey if i could post the video of me smoking the **** out of the evo then i would cuz really i ahd the top down and i gave him a car heads start and wells hey i beat that evo by 3 cars i think and my friend was in the car too so yeah ill post some picture of it in a couple of days ok and the engine but you wont be able to see anything thow
