Welcome to the club, but if you have been here since 11/01, you are not new. J/K, I am guessing that is a typo.

As for performance mods, there isn't a chip for the S. You could go with a new EMS and pick up some HP there and a VAFC will get a few as well- but there is debate ont he VAFC and whether the ECU will reset itself over time to compensate for any changes the VAFC makes. As for intake and exhaust, you can gain a few HP there as well, but the biggest change they will make is the sound of the car which many people like to do. The biggest gains are made with big mods (which of course means big money.) Boost and gears are both good performance enhancers, but have large price tags to go with them. Many people feel they are worth the money while others are satisfied with spending less money and getting some smaller gains.
