Well, on a bike it used to make a difference.
Actually, when you consider the health benefits of gettin' in shape n' the cost of doin' so compared to the price of unobtanium parts . . loss of weight on the wheel (steerin') nut is probably the most cost effective route of travel.
(Of course, I'm speakin' of others that might be packin' extra pounds. Not myself. Of course)
Aaay Hell, do I detect a UKer? Bonnet???
The stock bonnet/hood and the stock hard hood/top might be near as light as the carbon fibre ones, but the fibre takes a pretty good hit without any evidence of the insult. While I do like stock, havin' any expanse of sweetly curved aluminum doesn't make me comfortable.
