I got a pretty good deal on my car. I paid $15000 for it and have spent another $500 to get it completely right. It is a year 2000 with 23k on the clock. I watched the ads for a couple months and knew the prices. It is the end of the season and the guy was getting divorced. It actually was on eBay for a couple hours and when I saw the price I jumped. Cars like mine are being advertised for all kinds of money. Some people just go to Kelley's or similar and think they can get top dollar just because it says so. These cars are down in price right now because many of the dealers have at least one left over '06 car that they are discounting about $4000 off their usually full sticker price. This affects the price of used cars right down the line. A lot of people don't know that. You can buy a new car for under $30k and a '05 with only a couple K on it for $26k. If you look on eBay and go to the "completed sales" listings you will see that first of all very few cars actually reach their reserves. If you study the cars that actually change hands then you can see what the REAL price to pay is. My car realistical could have brought a couple more K possibly but the guy didn't want to detail it and he wanted to move it immediately. I had to take a chance on a 600 mile round trip to check the car out and I did have a good days work to detail it. But other then two tires and this clutch issue its in very nice shape. Won't be driving it much over the next couple months now with the weather in Pa. Good luck to others with the dealers and the repairs. I was lucky to not have to argue with Honda over this. Don't know if they treat everyone the same but I would make some noise and see what comes of it. John H
