Hi guys. I godda admit that about the only part of the car that I'd consider replacin' would be the exhaust.
"Indy-car-ish"??? I wouldn't wanna play Scrabble against you Go.
It's pretty obvious that considerable weight loss can be accomplished with the replacement with a single, weight-conscious exhaust, but how high a price would have to be paid in constant bombardment of noise?
When you're gettin' into it you expect (okay, I guess I really wanna) it to get louder, but when the louder is constant it gets old real quick in a daily driver.
Jus' how loud do you find your current CT n' how loud was your RM system before it got sent out to the shed?
As I remember, Indy-car-ish is an exhilerating sound . . right up until the point where it starts to rip your mind apart n' you start tightenin' your neck muscles, bracin' yourself for the next dose of it.
So what I'm askin' Go, is if you think that an older fella could live with the normal tone of the RM or the CT?
(Your response will be kept in the strictest confidence n' will not be shared on any mailin' lists)
Thanks.
