Thanks for the info Java Junky. I have a friend with a 2005. I'm going to let him drive mine. There is a difference between being a bit notchy and being a bit clunky. I'm just not sure how notchy is ok and when it becomes sign of a problem. Possibly someone missed a shift on a test drive before I became an owner? Who knows.
