I must agree. People buy these cars for a reason. Torque is obviously not one of them. Handling is usually at the higher end of reasons for purchasing an S2000.

So why buy a used S2000 for $20k, then have a 2JZ put in for another $16k. For less than that, you could have just bought yourself the Supra. Yes, you'd have more power with the 2J, but the handling would be way off. Don't believe me? Try and lift a Supra's Getrag 6-speed and tell me it won't throw off the weight balance.
