Springs need to do one thing, and that is support the car and provide a certain amount of compressive force. Whether they are coil springs or space-age composite fiberglass leafs is immaterial. Jeez, what a high-horse you're riding there. Not everyone has your wants and needs in a car.
Now, back to engine swaps and away from pointless car bashing, putting a V6 into an S2000 is certainly going to do bad things to the weight balance. A strong understeer is likely. Its even possible that the rear might get even more twitchy under strong front weight transfer than it already is. Is this really the S2000 you want, or is a different car entirely probably a better idea?
