Whats up everyone, I was @ the dealership the other day and i was talking to one of my salesman, He was telling me that in 08 the new s2k will be turbo charged, now im still debating on wether this is true or not, im not an s2000 owner yet, i drive a 2005 Honda Accord (20 Inch Dubs) But anyways, I was wondering if anyone Knew if they will be coming out with a turbo version in 08because im going to be purchasing an s2k but i dont want to get one untill i find out... Thanks, wb.....

 

The dealer knows jack. Salesmen will say anything.
If there was a new model coming out in what is essentially almost 12 months time, I'm sure somebody would have some spy pics of it already, as it would be well into the testing phase.

 

Doubt that is true. Every year it's a different rumor. 'Just wait and see' is my philosophy.

 

i doubt that also, if there were any major changes i think we would know about it, and yes the dealers dont no jack....i have also been hearing rumors for a S2K replacement im pretty sure thats BS too, honda is not that stupid to discontinue the S2K when there are only less than 10,000 made each year and a demand for them around the world

 

'Sounds like the salesman was entertainin' himself by messin' with the customers. (To be fair, I guess it does get borin' sittin' there)
There're lots'a sources of pre-release info on new cars that I'd put some stock in. Salesmen ain't one of 'em.

well i heard tat honda is going to make a 450 horsepower s2020, it suppose to replace the s2k in 08 or 09. it makes sense to me, nissan has it 480 horse skyline, toyota briing back the supra.

dont know, but i would so buy the s2020

 

..and I heard it will be a four door, have an automatic, and be all wheel drive. I heard it from my mom who knows a guy who's son dates a receptionist that use to go with a copy guy who's dad works at a Honda dealership cleaning the floors during the evenings in the Hampton's.
