Not hard at all...
It's a fairly easy job...trust me. The door/border trim/ac vent comes off as a unit with a little gentle tugging. The only "hard" part is driving out the two friction pins that hold the hinge together on each side of the cover. I'd use an appropriate size hex wrench, tapping on the short end to drive out the pins. Be careful not to lose the spring that operates the door when you take it apart, and pay close attention to how it is installed prior to taking it apart. Other than that, I'd put some tape around the areas that are likely to get scratched when you drive out the pins. Took me about 15 minutes, the spring re-installation taking a bit of attention.
