Hmmm-m-m-m, dunno how you got 6 to 8 thou out'a what I said, but I'll try again: I've got over 20 thou on the car. 6 to 8 thou of that 20 was on the winter Dunlops. The remaining 12 to 14 thou have been done on the stock tires which are showing no signs of needing replacement.
I'm figurin' that the stock stickies r' gonna need replacin' somewhere between 18 to 22 thou, but that's strictly guessin'.
What I can say with some assurance is that the stock rubber is good for at least the 12 to 14 thou that I've put on mine.
N', while I'm always concerned about the condition of my tires, I'm not known for my concern about the effects that my driving will have on them. They're tires. They wear so that Stewie n' me can stick in the corners.
