i guess there werent drift comps before tokyo drift in the us? See this is why those movies destroyed the automotive world. You seem to think the movie created a new sport in america except its been going on for years here. Before the movie came out there were competitions and drifting schools. It actually didnt make drift comps that much more popular. What it did do is all the people that dont have a clue about what really goes on think the movies awesome then they attempt the stuff from the movie and crash. The only good news about all this is that I can watch video after video of tool bags crashing their cars now.
