In response to Pecetrn, I think there is another web site called "Honda Connection" as well.
For purposes of providing the Supreme Council of this web site with my opinion , I really like the quality of issues but more imortantly the demeanor of the members in responding to newbie questions to be very friendly and the welcome nature continues throughout the entire threads that I have viewed at least. I also enjoy the lack of personal attacks and insults that are becoming the norm in the s2ki web site. Clearly, the members of this site have been successful in avoiding the adoption of a superior attitude like many established members of S2KI web site. The number of occurrences that I have observed members participating in s2ki threads treat others with rude and offensive comments has increased dramatically. Moreover, the members of this site tend to be much more friendlier and welcome the additional opinions set forth in new posts as opposed to attempting to rid posting of new people to and thereby act as if that particular thread is only for those few established participants. I am not a sensitive guy at all, in fact just the opposite. But I am well established within my community and learned that everyone deserves a level or respect. In fairness, my critic on the S2ki site does not apply to the majority of the members who are very good people and very helpful. Moreover, I would also like to mention that the Vintage forum as a complete exception to the position expressed herein. The Vintage Forum is on of the best insofar as everyone understands that there is more to life than whether an S2000 can beat a Nissan 350z.
Since the purpose of this forum is to present requests, then I would like to ask the Supreme Council of the S2000 site if they would consider establishing a forum for jokes and allow one of the threads to be adult orientated. Please understand that I am not asking that a forum for posting porn, but rather one that would allow posting of funny jokes that oftentimes contains profanity. Perhaps, a security entry feature similar to what sirius radio on line with howard stern utilizes could be implemented before allowing access to that particular forum or a lesser but still effective method of establising a warning or notice that the jokes posted may involve word of profanity. In my opinion, there are more than enough members of this site to make such a thread successful.
Naturally, this request has absolutely nothing to do with the S2000 sports car. However, I beleive it would become one of the more popular forums on this site and, as such, would not only promote addittional opportunities to meet and communicate with other members of this site but may likely increase the number of members for the S2000 site which will help with securing additional advertising income.
At times even the most hard core s2k addict needs to relax and laugh. Personally, I see the need for good humor to allow me to forget the unending aspect of reading forums, learning of additional ideas, spending even more money to enhance my Spa and then start all over again. It is a never ending cycle. I think a forum for humor would be a nice break and provide some of us with an additional reason to express to our respective ball and chain the necessity for the excessive amount of time on the computer learning about the car!
