i have had my s2000 for a little over a year now with no real problem, general stuff like brakes, and a clutch. well a few nights ago i was driving down a local street when i heard a loud bang, the rear end locks up i punch in the clutch and we skid to a stop. cant get it out of 3rd and i limp it home, the next day the clutch seemed to be working but i have no syncroses the car shudders when i take off and it wont down shift till im almost at a complete stop. there is a bunch of gear whine coming from both the gear box and the rear end and my rear end clunks now. this sucks. so im parking the car till i can drop about 1500-2000 on a used low mile trans and rear diff and mabey a new set of axles. oh my trans had 68,749 miles on it.
