I'm confused why you think it won't be affective until you upgrade the tranny first. I can understand if you meant you might break the tranny. But otherwise I can't see how headers and intake would be less effective until you upgrade a tranny.
That aside, what is it about supercharging that has you concerned with respect to track days? It is not uncommon to see supercharged engines on tracks. Nitrous is a different story and is about useless on a road course.
