I reacently got moved to WV and have had no problems with ground clerance. The stock tires are great, the whole car runs great stock, I have an '03 and may jump to 17"s when I go through my tires but I will stay with the Bridgestone tire ( the only thing bad is you do eat tires). Over all, I owned a '01 Boxter S prior to my S2000 and this is twice the car my Boxter was, It handles great, It's fast, and on road trips I get about 30 mpg,

, if you want a pure sports car there is none better.
