'Lookin' good Dark. Wear it in good health.
I'm with spa in that I've usually got my top down below freezin', but, as my Stewie's an '04, I've the benefit of the glass rear window.
Go's right on the money about bein' concerned with the plastic rear window in the cold weather, most especially the crease.
Like metal, plastic work-hardens n' as it breaks down into the chemicals that make it up with age, gets opaque, discolored n' less pliant. Some of the discoloration n' opaqueness can be removed with a good polishin' with somethin' like Meguires, but the opaqueness n' discoloration r' a good indication of how old it is n' how close it is to the end of it's useful life.
That's why you'll notice that as a plastic headlight r' rear window ages you can clear it up with some attention, but it requires the attention more n' more frequently.
N' while the opaqueness n' the discoloration can be put up with, the crease'll take no prisoners. Once it starts crackin' jus' take it down n' get it, r' the whole top replaced, as need be.
Be well.
