I know how you feel man it sucks although they only stole my wheels....Its the inconvenience and rape of an awesome car thats the hardest to deal with. Did you have an alarm? Where was it parked? Did they flat bed it or cut the top and snatch the goodies inside? hope you find those bastards but the fact is that most likly youll never know which is the worst part...

Those rat bastards! I swear if I ever caught someone doing this to my car, I'd lock them in my trunk with a few angry scorpions or pit vipers.

Sorry, man... I had my civic stolen twice...
You'll be lucky it they didn't cut any wires (like ECU), or SRS to the steering wheel, ignition, etc.
If they did - your car could get salvage title.

Sorry to hear about that man. One of my friends brand new CR's just got stripped. And he even had an aftermarket alarm and lived in an upscale gated community.

This is why I believe in the philosophy below:

"If I've worked for it ... payed for it ... its mine ... if you try to take what is mine ... I will take your life ... It's a fair trade ... and you have just been given fair warning" -- Dr. Werner Betz

According to a law enforcement friend, these are steps you can take to stack the deck in your favor when protecting your vehicle.

1. Do not put the brand of security system decals on the windows, this tells a tech savvy thief how to thwart the system faster.
He recommends a generic type sticker that tells the thief you are taking steps to protect and he is taking a risk by not knowing exactley how far you've taken your security efforts.

2. Use an alarm system with GPS also a paging option and ditch the siren. This way if you are prepared you can perhaps confront the thieves. If they are armed (and they likely will be) what transpires next will be the end result of the choices they made "in the moment" when caught attempting to steal from the wrong person.

As for me, I KNOW what I WILL do. Do you?

Check craigslist, ebay, thrifty nickel, newspaper classifieds, and some salvage yards. I hope they get caught by one of their victims first, I'd love to take that report.

I often wondered why alarm companies put stickers in their packaging. Like they are so good or something. Anything can be defeated with enough talent.

Precisely! Putting your Viper or Code Alarm or Honda factory decal etc. on the window saves the thief precious time and tells him just what you have and where to look and what to cut to disable systems that even have hidden back-up batteries. Better to just stick a generic alarm warning decal on the window using a silent page alarm with motion activated GPS without siren or flashing lights. The P.O.S. thinks he is home free till he gets a mouthful of Mossberg!

Rock on! I live in Texas where we can carry and conceal. So thieves better beware. Plus we can use deadly force to protect our property at night and we passed the castle law. Sorry to hear about your loss.

I'm very sorry to hear this Tego i really do hope everything works out for you and your car in the end. I live in an aparment and don't have the benifit of a garage so i'm always a little parinoid when i hear a car with a deep exhuast driving by sometimes i think i may have just been had but i guess it comes with the territory until people can learn to be decent and respectful of others peoples property. Some people need to be tought that IF YOU DIDN'T EARN IT YOU DON'T DESERVE IT! Again i hope everyting works out for you.

Is your car located at coggin honda on obt in orlando? I was there picking up my new odyssey and saw a 2000-2001 black s2000 with its roof cut and the seats missing.
