just got my S2000...

i very happy with it... still breakin it in.. wha is it i cant go over 5500 rpms? and for how many miles? its hard to stay under 75 miles per hour in the freeway. i cant wait to hit vtec again....

lets do this over...
what is the break in period?
how many miles?
and what rpm ?

i think u can slowly accelerate to hit vtec and if u need to go faster due to the traffic condition then i think u have no choice anyway. however what kind of highway is it that u need to go over 5500RPM ? normally i am driving 4500- 5000rpm in the 6th gear.

Honda Service Manager.

I'm the service manager at a honda dealer in NJ. and the mis conception that there is a break in period is very out of date. Honda Breaks in every engine that leaves the factory prior to being installed in a car. you really don't have to baby it more than a few tanks of gas.
