Winter storage tips

I am about to put my S2000 in storage for winter (5-6 months) I know to put a fuel stabilizer in before hand, what else should I do? Change oil before or after, does it matter? Someone at the dealer said put plastic under the tires. Should I jack it up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the way I do it:Wash and wax,change oil and filter,fill up gaz tank,disconnect batterie,jack it up,remove wheels,and put car cover on.
And don't start it up before next spring.

Thanks, I was going to remove the battery for security reasons, but the wheels are a much better idea

When you jack it up, where do you position the jack stands under the car?
It will be sitting on them for 6 months.
