Supercharging system - Turbo kit

Hello S-mens,

I own red 2000, made some changes as new ceramic clutch, Remus exhaust system, chip tuning, intake kit from Green filters, a little bit re-build gearbox, some engine stuff from Mugen.

I take 1.2 sek off and now my S2000 going 0-100 km/h with 5,0 sek.

The next step shoud be: turbo kit from Vortech, however I`m not very sure, that Vortech is the best solution for S2000.

Can S-mens give me some advices, concerning turbo kit on S2000 ?

Brgds, Red

If you stick on a supercharger or turbo charger you will probably have to get rid of a lot of those mods you have already done (eg extractors etc).

Maybe a simpler option is to just stick a Nitrous system onto the car for some instant horsepower.

The vortech is not a turbo, it is a centurfugial supercharger... it's design is based around left hand drive s2ks, because a roots type supercharger would not be possible to fit under the hood... You will have wasted some money on what you've already purchased, but your gains will be more noticable... I've personally invested the money into going NA (about 20K thus far), but I have alot fo friends that have gone F.I. .... the Comptech kit is easier on the install, as you don't have to run an oil return from the pan.... They are also offering an air to air aftercooler (what most people mistake for an intercooler), rather then the Vortech's water to air... it all depends on what you want... What kind of piggyback ecu tuning do you have?
