Hi, i think it is traction control + stability control. The first is for traction, the second one is for turning. Depending on the situation the car will apply brakes on any of the wheel if nessessary. According to my previous experiecne with the other cars traction and stability control can not be 100% turned off, although it has the button to disable it, it in away is still on but just not as much. However, i dunno about honda because no body has seen the new s2000 yet i think, or at least ididn't see one. I have to say if you don't have a snow tire and you have the traction control, during snowy days you will stuck in a parking lot/ drive way/ or on the road it is very embarrasing. Anyway, depending on your driving style some people (expert driver ) think traction control etc.. is a annoying thing, because you probably can't drift as easily and can't turn as fast with this function ON.
Maybe I am wrong because I am not very sure how the Honda one is going to work, others can add more... |

i think they will have a way to disable it completly bc the s2ks now have none at all and it would suck for previous s2000 owners who enjoy the drifting to lose that

Second page of this thread has a link to some pretty good shots of the MY06.
http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php...c=342672&st=25 Still haven't found out if the stability control can be completely 100% disabled or if it stays in a failsafe mode when turned off. 'Course I haven't looked too hard to find out. |
