New Member with a couple of ?'s

Hi guys,

I just purchased a 2001 S2000 with 14k miles today. First thing I did after reading this board is change the oil with 10W30 Mobil1 Synth and a honda OEM filter to ensure oil is fesh and topped off. I have a question regarding the clutch/trans. I think I read this on here, but when I let off the gas in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear, there is a somewhen loud hum when at higher RPM, not so audible at lower RPM. Is this something common with the S2k of this year? This car is like a go cart, I had a boxster before and that was like a luxury car compared to this, but I like the S2k better :

I just love how raw this car is.

Pre-02 models commonly have what is referred to as "clutch buzz". This is caused by the pressure plate(?) springs. Changing to a 02+ model may fix this problem.

The noise is just a noise and is not a sign something is broken, or harmful in anyway.
