What size wheels have you got?

For wet weather I would recommend Goodyear Eagle F1's (GSD3).

Don't skimp on money when buying tires. They are the probably the most important thing on the car.

I can attest that the Yokohama AVS ES100 are crap in the rain so I'd stay away from those. Maybe just a hair better than the SO2s were in the rain.

Personal preference here, but I don't want to see the following words on my car: Kook, Kum and Ho no matter how good a tire they make.

When I bought my Stewie used it came with a set of Hankooks and I thought the same thing. They've actually turned out to be pretty good tires on dry land and they are wicked cheap. They suck in the rain though...if the ground is wet the back end of the car has a mind of it's own.

i had those on my rx-7 and is i remember correctly those are drag radials that completly suck in the rain, i would tap my gas in the rain and the car would shoot sideways even if i was going straight, but hey thats that 450 hp does in a car that light, tell me if im wrong but i think those will suck in anything but dry pavement

ummm, i think what he want is something cheaper. not expansive ones, i know the toyo is good for that price and perforamance, but i also heard cheaper tires wear out faster, and this is what i think tooo. In my opinion if you want a good tire like eagle f1 , and good in the rain then you should get a michellin pilot sport A/S, this tire is very good in the rain and not bad in the dry.

Hey Ep;
If funds're really tight, have you checked the local bone yards for SBRs? (Stewies Beyond Repair) It's a long shot, but it's an avenue that often gets overlooked.
Hey, I won't tell if you don't.
Be well.
