'04 OEM WHEELS ON MY '03 JAPANESE S2K

I've just won 2 '04 oem rims from ebay, and I've ordered another 2 to complete my upgrade - both from the US. I live in Asia and my S2k is '03 and I believe its a Japanese version. After reading some discussions from other forums, I'm starting to wonder (perhaps worried is a better word) whether these US '04 rims will really fit my Japanese '03. Can anyone shed a light on this or help to reassure me at least??!!

Going on nothing but my past experience with this car, there has been no change in bolt pattern or wheel offsets throughout the years. Pre 04 USDM cars have been upgraded with 04+ (17") wheels without any issues. I can't imagine what was different for the JDM market that wouldn't allow them to fit.

Just did the same thing. The tires you will have to buy are a little wider, the bolts fit without any problem. This also convinced by friend in Japan to do the same thing after seeing how it looks on my car during his last visit.

So you don't have to worry, they bolt right on and you can even go a little wider if you like. Keep in mind that the displayed speed will not be exact. In addtion keep in mind that he 16' rims and tires actually will have slightly better handling on the car, so I would recommend to go with the 04 standard tire size.

Oh yes! there's one more thing I'd like to know .. will the '03 stock wheel Centre Caps fit the '04 wheels? Hope they do. Anything else I need to do if any?
