hard top

I recently purchased a brand new berlina black 2006 S2000. I could not be happier! At this point, I am awaiting a call from the dealer about purchasing a hard top. Has anyone heard any news about when they will be available? Thanks.

I had the dealer order my hardtop at time of purchase and installed before I took delivery. Afterwards, you have to pay for the part, wait on delivery and stand in line for installation and only get one year warranty on the part. Hardtops are not hard to source but the dealerships will usually order one only when it is paid for in advance.

The dealer told me Honda was having problems in fitting the '06 properly. What year is your S?

I have an 05. Did I miss something? Did the 06 body change? Because the hardtops are keyed to the vehicle's color, I know in the past certain colors were harder to get than others based on demand. I recommend ordering one from another dealer and have your dealer install it. Same warranty.

I'm 04' S2000 owner and I have Mugen hardtop...
I think it has much more agrressive

look than Honda' s original hard top...
Why dont you prefer mugen hard top?

In Turkey Mugen hard top is cheaper than the original one.
İsn't it the same in your country?

i dont know how much the one from the factory is but i could only get carbon fiber if i got a hardtop, the fiberglass one is 2800, and the carbon is 6000, compared to seibon or c wings, mugen's carbon hard top is about double the price of the same product
