Ok, so I have found an S2000 w/ 35,000 miles. Has a REBUILT title. Asking $15,000 for it. Looked like the car went thru a fence, they had to replace bumper cover, 2 front fenders, windshield, headlight and hood. Anyways, the title is rebuilt so I know these can be shaky but any opinions? Also, about emissions...I asked if it was set up for California emissions and he said no, but it was inspected by the state troopers to give it the rebuilt title. So here's another problem, lol, I'm planning on moving to California soon and what would I have to do to make it pass Cali emissions? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Sounds like the one someone on S2Ki was asking about. The answer there was "Not for me!!"

CA emissions? If you can figuire it out, write a book, you will be rich!! Best way to pass CA emissions, move away from CA.

Why even mess around? For 20K you can easily find a used S2k without any 'story' maybe even 'Honda certified used' (for what that marketing BS is worth).

You can check with Honda's 1800 number, but I'm pretty sure all S2000s were LEV 50 state legal.

"Whatever you do, where ever you go, enjoy the drive." I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!! After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.
