Looking for Buyer's help...

Hey all, I'm new to the board. I come in search of advice--- I'm looking to buy a used S2000 (2000-2001) and I wanted to know your advice about how many miles on an S2000 is too many to buy used. In a perfect world, I'd find an S2000 with under 50k miles for blue book price, but it seems like mileage on the older S2000s is upwards of 80k and on. While I understand this is normal wear and tear, is buying an S2000 with around 80k miles foolish? Will it last me another 60-70k? I know it has a sterling reputation for reliability, but putting up 150k miles on a car seems like a lot for any model.

Depends on how it has been maintained.

I would be more concerned about the history of the car eg accident damage etc.

You should check out what insurance is going to cost you also.

Chk the engine oil, if the person did a good job , then u can see (oil level and color etc). but if is purposely maintained before sale then there is nothing u can do@@ just test drive it
