new s2000 part 2

So I just got a new 2006 S2000.

In 6th gear at 80mph, I'm already at 4000rpm. My old accord at 100mph ran at 4000rpm. Is this normal or is the s2000 just a gas guzzler at high speeds?

If you cruise the highway alot going 75-80 wont make ur gas mileage go down. I cruise 60 miles round trip to work and dont get less than 26, and yes i do reline every once in a while. The Highest mileage i've gotten was high 28's. Hope you enjoy ur new S2000

Normal, also known as having appropriately spaced gears for a sports car. The S2000 is not an Accord at any speed.
