Just a hiya...
I traded a 350z for a 2006 S2000. A little slower off the line, but a ton more fun to drive. Found it hard to believe how heavy the 350z feels compared to the S2000. |

I'm actually thinking of doing the same. How does the interior noise compare to the 350Z? Also available trunk space? The Z itself I don't think is all that quiet on roads esp with the feathering issue, the back trunk is limited by the large pillar that spans the suspension towers. Is this your impression too? Thanks.

The ride is a little stiffer (I had a touring, not track) but the s2000 handles way better, the clutch is way more forgiving (think BMW stiff for the Z) and the interior doesn't seem all cheap and plastic like. I'll post back in here, in a couple weeks after the either of having a new car wears off and give you some real impressions. Forgot to mention Nissans crappy customer service, had a 2000 civic for a while and anything that went wrong with it Honda was fixing it (even when it was my fault) without question. Nissan made me go to Nissan USA Corporate everytime I wanted (legitimate) warrenty work done. They could never fix the road noise from the tire feathering (went thru 2 sets in 2 years) and wouldn't fix the constant clicking coming from the rear hatch. |

skitzo funny i'm going through the same exact stuff with Nissan on the clicking noise of the rear hatch. Actually it's coming from the suspension tower and one of the bolts broke; in any case I am getting a bit fed up with having the car in the shop all the time for these annoying issues latest is the fuel tank recall...
yes please let me know what you think of your car in a few weeks. I'd be very interested in your thoughts about changing into an s. |

I just traded in my G35 coupe for the S2K. The G35 was a great car, but as it was pointed out in an earlier post, this car feels so much lighter than the G (350Z) and is much more fun to drive. Living in San Diego, a rag top is the only way to go!
