Need help with Immobilzer

Hi all: My dealer installed immobilizer anti theft sytem stopped working on my S2000-2001. Car still starts, but doors and trunk will not unlock or lock and the little LED light does not come on with the remote. I changed the battery but still no help. Any advice is welcomed. wilbur of the north

I had a similar issue with my 05. The ignition occasionally will not completely release. My car will beep constantly, and all the other indications are the same. What I typically do is fiddle with the switch with just the tip of the key until it clicks. Until it releases the key fob is useless.

sounds like a bad transmitter or reciever...i would have the dealer look at it
