Cheapest Dealership in Norcal
Hi,
I am completely new to the forum, because I am shopping to get a new s2000. I was wondering if those that have recently purchased a '06 s2000 in norcal can post where you bought it from and the price you were able to get the vehicle for OTD. The lowest I have found for internet quotes is $31,193 + fees. I was really hoping to get it for around $30k or lower OTD. Please tell me if that is even possible. Thanks in Advance. |

30K OTD? Umm, no. That would mean ~27K before tax/license which is $3600 below invoice (over 10% below the invoice price $30,633). This would be a loss for the dealership. (I realize dealers don't buy cars at invoice, but they don't get them for 10% below).
Keep in mind most dealers have one, at most 2 S2000s in their lot at once. Combine that with summer weather that usually drives up demand and you still have largely a seller's market for this car. There is quite a bit more room to negotiate on cars that the dealer has plenty of, like Accords and Civics. BTW, the car is worth every penny! |
