'01 Timing?

Simple question about an '01 S2K. Does it use a timing gear setup, or is it a belt or chain drive. Only asking b/c the '06 is a gear setup, no belt. I just bought an '01 and was curiuos. Thanks

Hmm, sure looks like a chain to me in both the F20c and F22c.

Been known to be wrong, but I can't imagine they changed the whole setup for '06 (which still uses the F22c).

Thanks, I was reading the brochure fot the '06 and it just mentioned about a gear. I really appreciate the link for the cut away view.

From the cutaway, it looks like the chain drives the main cam gear, then an idler gear is between that and the gear on each cam. Maybe that's what they mean.
