strange humming noise
I never noticed it before...but when I started my s2k this morning...there was a humming noise that was coming into the cabin. when i pushed down on the clutch..the humming went away. when i released the clutch...the humming came back. i have a 2002 AP1 with 34xxx miles...
any ideas? -s2k n00b |

If the hummin' is comin' from the driver's area n' sounds like the theme from Mission Impossible (r' somethin' similar) every time you're settin' up for a set of corners . . . . it's not unusual.
How noticeable, sporadic r' continuous, only on start-up, on every start-up, any noticeable difference in clutch engagement? (Actually, mine is the theme from the Lone Ranger) Good luck, be well.
