tune up/ oil change

Does anyone use honda oil filters when changing the oil? If not, what are the favorites? Any suggestions on oil brand? And finally, do most of you perform your own tune-ups? How about brake pad changes? I just don't want to put my car in anyone else's hands! ya know?

i use honda oil filters is only $7 ... so no big deal ...

Totally agree with your not wantin' to put it in someone else's hands No.
But, sometimes ya jus' got no choice, n' on those occasions it's good to have someone in the wings that you've already checked out n' can trust.
But best-case scenario is always rollin' yerrown.
I don't necessarily godda use Honda, but, when it comes to oil, filters, tires n' brakes I won't consider lookin' for cheap.
