One thing that definetly hurts this car is the small market that currently exists for it. I'm currently building my S2000 & I haven't come accross a single site, magazine, or thread that talks about or carries an intake manifold for the S2K. Am I going to hafta hack & weld a custom one together or does anybody have one insalled that they purchased? If so, from where/what brand?

it needs an intake because im completly customizing the car from front to back. That stock intake would look ridiculously out of place amongst all the color, carbon, & chrome after im finished with the car.

I would like to see pics of this when it is done.
You might consider ITB's as well. http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php...age&img=238292

Chrome and Carbon look like crap together, just my 2 cents... pick one or the other *chough*Carbon*cough*
Unless your refering to the engine bay, in which case chrome is okay, but looks better when powder coated... or painted, whichever. Carbon = well... import tuner! Chrome = Domestic Muscle Car Here are some sites though, ignore the Japanese, use babelfish if you must. Intake stuff: J'S RACING JAPAN Heres the Exhaust Manifold just for good mesure (Plus they look better than stock) Always good: Spoon Sports Check this one out though: J'S RACING JAPAN Heres the close up: http://www.jsracing.co.jp/js3/gal/Wr...G%5F8938%2Ejpg When all else fails... just get the OEM parts powder coated. Hope this helps |

I'm obviously talking about the engine bay, what would i be having polished chrome on an s2000, the bumpers??? & i'm not talking about a cold air type intake for 2 grand. Im talking about an intake Manifold. also, im fully aware of spoon sports & j's racing products.
fyi - powder coated (other than the valvecover) & soon-to-be-pealing painted oem parts look like crap. Just save the painting loot & spring for the clean looking aftermarket brand. |
