Newbie help needed

im about to buy a S2000, is there anything you guys would suggest i look at??

Ie any areas that a prone for problems etc?

Hi Alf, as this is a popular topic, I hope you don't mind if I recycle an old response.
And forgive the caveman for not bein' able to jus' copy n' paste it here, but I seem to be experiencin' technical difficulty when I try to paste old replies.

If it's a pre-2003, ask for all maintenence records. in the 2002 and earlier models, there was a faulty design in the oil banjo bolt in either the number 3 or 4 cylinder (I can't remember at the moment), and Honda had offered to fix this for affected cars.
