Cold Weather Starts

Hi: I was wondering if one of you experts on the S2000 could tell me if there is anything that I can do to improve S2000 cold weather starting. My average winter low here is 20 degrees F. I live in Rio Rancho NM and moved here from California in April. Ths is my first winter. it starts, but it is noticably harder than in the warm weather.

Also, I have one of those "Vortex Valves" that I purchased, but it seems not to do anything for my gas mileage...is it a a worthless piece of junk or am I just not using it correctly?

Thanks for your help

Rick

I live in Florida, so i can't help much other than to say, leave the car "On" for a few seconds before actually starting the car to get the fuel moving.

And if your car is a 2000-2001 (with the plastic rear window), don't mess with your top. Putting the top up and down in sub-50 degree weather is murder on the plastic for some reason.
