0-60 of a standard S2000

I have heard 0-60 of S2000 varying from 5.3 to 6-7s.Will someone please tell me the quickest 0-60 possible in a mod free car?

from memory the comptech supercharger on the fast and furious car was only 0.5 seconds quicker

No my memory is not hazy - here is the link to prove it. Just because it is meant to be fast in the movie doesn't mean the car really was as fast as they say, or is as fast as other supercharged s2000's.

so the acceleration 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62) of www.supercars.net is not true ? They say it's 5,5 seconds acceleration, and 14,2 seconds 1/4.
So what is true ?
Red you have tested yours, but are you sure can't you do better ?
6,2 seconds is very good but Honda says the acceleration was better that 6,0 seconds.

13.9 is slow for a supercharged S2000, I think that Fast and Furious car is heavy. The S2000 should be running low 13's with a supercharger. 13.9-14.3 should be possible with a stock S2K. There are Celica GT-S out there running 14.3 stock with an unbolted exhaust The S2K has better power to weight ratio, think about it. Take Care.

If you're into 0-60, then I assume you mostly mag race rather than go to the track. Magazines have rated the 0-60 of a stock S2K at anywhere from 5.7 to 6.2 seconds highly dependent on the launch.

A much more real world comparison would be what actual S2K drivers at the track are putting down in the quarter, and their trap. Very skilled drivers on street tires have posted quarters of 13.8x and traps of 99-101. This required a launch just below VTEC and perfect shifts. Most people won't launch their car at anywhere over 5000rpm because of the damage to the drivetrain.

Comptech supercharged S's become a much more confusing question because no 2 are alike. Some have aftercooler, exhaust modifications, extensive lightening mods, others just have a bolt on SC without as much as a tune. As a reference, though, you can read here:

This car put down a 13.3@108. Where it really shines is the 100-130. That is the real intent of our cars, not a quarter mile from a dig, but 100-130 coming out of a sweeper on a track.

I know whos S that is that Car and Driver used. He has a 8 pound pulley so he is pushing more boost than a normal S/C. I just bought one and some other stuff from his company. Its called Tech2motorsports.

Any how, I just ran my car at the track. I have bald stock tires with 12000 mile on them. My best time was 13.5 @ 107mph with a 60' time of 2.2.
