RB26DETT onto S2000
Hello Dear Honda drivers
I got the idea to put RB26DETT (6 cyl, 277 hp) onto my S2k. As result, I can get upto 500/600 hp on S2ki. What you think ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2449698353

DOES IT EVEN FIT???
check the engine bay size, does it even goes in there? and, why you want to make your car front heavy? how can it turns? I suggest turbo if you really want high hp, top fuel makes one, you can find it at www.raretrick.com , but still, RB engine, a nissan engine in a honda? dude... |

yep, from the first view it`s fit under the hood, of course need some preparations beforehand, but in generally its possible.
As well, need sit a little bit and think how to fit gearbox there...this is a might be the problem... concerning fitting of nissan engine to honda-this is more or less usual practice as well, does anybody here use nitrous on s2k? can you please recommend me some driving tips ?

In another post you mentioned that you wanted to stay within the same racing class (2L). You may want to check on the racing categories, as you might find that forced induction cars (eg turbo, supercharged, nitrous) are an entirely different category to a naturally aspirated 2L engine.

there was a guy who worked for Area 51 out in cali who swapped an sr20det into the s, and he had some success, after a serious outpour of money. With an engine swap, you will need to have the drive train, mounts, manifolds, etc. all custom fabricated... the big question you need to ask yourself is "do I have enough money to do this?" Anything is possible, with exorberant amounts of money...
