0-60 time

i think i have found the lowest 0-60 time (4.9 sec.) in print for the s2k. in a comparo article in road and track from january 01 called "sibling rivalry", the s2k was compared to the nsx and equalled the nsx time 0-60. what's even more impressive is the test was done in the rain! the slalom (65.9) and skidpad (.90g) seemed a little low and wet conditions would account for these relatively poor figures. also, the braking figure (60-0) was the highest i have seen in print (134ft). the highest skidpad i have seen in print is in the road test data from automobile magazine (1.0 and 1.01) if i remember correctly. all these figures are of course for a bone stock s2k. these slalom and skidpad figures from automobile magazine are better than many of the socalled exotics and much higher priced cars, but we knew that already didn't we! all these numbers are quite subjective because different drivers under different conditions set them all. not that this is written in stone, but it is interesting nonetheless.

i guess you'd have to take that up with the editors of automobile magazine.
i'm only reporting what i have read in print, although it did seem rather high to me as well. what is unknown is the temp and other variables that can effect the outcome of all these road tests.
