What years the best?!
Which year S2000 is best for a starting platform?! 2000-2003...Im only interested in the F20. Any help would be extremely helpful!

I would imagine the latest year has the greatest goodies and probably less mileage than any other used year S2000 in your criteria. I believe it has the glass rear window (convertible) whereas the 01 and previous have a plastic window (correct me if I am wrong)

I guess it depends on what you are going to with the car. If you are going to use it as a daily driver than the newer the better. But if your just going to strip it and build it up, it doesn't really matter which year.

'Godda go with 'Fact n' the best deal, (which translates into the best shape for the money) but don't go passin' up an opportunity for the glass rear window. It's no small difference.

man, i love my 02 spa s2k... ya know what the best part about having is!??!

Go newer than 2003
In 2003 they chenged from a 2.0 liter to a 2.2 which increased the low end torque. You also want one with a glass back window and rthe headrest speakers- unless you plan on installing aftermarket. I have an 07 which is magnificent. I would suggest 07 anyday- but when I was looking after all my research I wanted 03 or newer. Good luck!
