yr 2000 speaker wireing

Hi, could anyone tell me which wire is positive and which is negative for the speaker terminals. there is a red/white and green wire.

Normally red is power and black is ground. I think it would be safe to assume that the red/white is power and the green is ground.

Thanks for the advice, but that sounds like power, I'm just refering to swapping out the speakers for new ones. I can't tell the polarity.

You can always just test them to see. Just take your speaker and touch each one of the wires to the positive connector on the speaker. The power will make the speaker make a popping sound. Dont worry, it doesnt hurt the speaker.

To be fair, as long as both (or all 4) speakers are wired the same (I.e. choose one of them to be positive) then they will all be in phase, so the job's done!
