newbie -- invidia exhaust buzz ?

Hi all.
I just picked up my 2000 s2k last weekend. My first such roadster, having owned 3 TR6s, one GTI, one muscle beast, and even an odd Lancia!

I love this car. It's a fine piece of machinery.

Anyway, I digress.
The car is a really low mileage (15000!) car with an Invidia exhaust. I don't mind the exhaust tone (see above cars!), but I get a very annoying harmonic buzz at around 4000 RPM... Very noticeable with the roof up.

Anyone else heard/felt this? ANy ideas?

The Invidia is loud and there is a buzz. I don't own one, but really wanted one. I have heard them before and you are correct, they are loud.

I don't have any issue with the loudness of the exhaust.. It's really that danged harmonic buzz that gets to me.. I was wondering if anyone had tried to address such an issue before.. Additional hangers? Different resonator??

Just curious, as I've read some other web sites where such mods are discussed.

If you have silencers in...make sure they are tight and not vibrating.

A test pipe will change the flow through the exhaust, but I don't know if that will make it worse or better.

Thanks for the input all.

I'll investigate the overall tightness of the connections, etc.
(I'm still contemplating replacing/supplementing the resonator.)

I think the buzz in kindof growing on me.. aids digestion, stimulates hair follicles, etc.
