Headers and Exhaust

I need help.
I want to get header and a cat back for my 2006 S2k. I want to go japanese. I'm thinking of a company that tunes for the S2k. I'm thinking of Mugen, Spoon, J's Sport, even HKS. Does anyone own header or catback for there S2k from these companies'? Please help. I'm looking for an awesome loud sound off of this too.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!
After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

The J's 70rr system is awesome loud around 150db one of the loudest out there its a header back system.I've researched it alot. thats what i had my eye on for a long time now.Almost go ripped off buying it. Needless to say i still have no Exhaust. But thats the one i'm getting. Its full Ti and is about 8 lbs. you tube has a few sound clips. As far as i know if this is what you want the wait is a few months. Check with Bullet proof thats who i'm going through now. does any one know the difference between the J's racing 70RR vs the 60RS?
Is one catback and the other header back? Just today I went to kingmotorsports and ordered the mugen header for the s2k. Will the J's racing mate up with teh mugen header?

Yea, the 70rr is a header back system and is also 70mm pipe. The 60rs is a cat. back system and the pipe is 60mm. Yes, the 70rr will mate up right with the mugen header. The 60rs will also work with the mugen header but your going to have to run a cat. or a test pipe to fill the gap.

A header will not replace the catalytic converter, unless it's some sort of hybrid long-tube header, which as far as I know does not exist for our cars.

A header is just the collector that draws exhaust gasses from your combustion chamber into the actual exhaust system. It's purpose is to take those four exhaust-producing chambers into one.

As for being loud, you have several options with which you can go. But be aware, that loud can get annoying. S2000 exhausts, because they tend to set at higher RPM's at highway speeds, have a lot of drone. So basically, if you are doing 60+ miles per hour, you and everyone around you will know you have an aftermarket exhaust. In addition, most aftermarket dual exhausts on the S2000 add very little power (and in some cases, actually reduce power). So, I guess it comes down to what you want out of it. This is also a good time to mention the legalities of it. In most states, ANY modification to an exhaust is grounds for a ticket. And in many places (such as Florida), running without a catalytic converter is grounds for heavy fines and possible jail time. It's also a matter of how much you are willing to risk in the pursuit of automotive perfection.

How much money are you willing to spend? Are you looking to increase power, or just sound and appearance?

I just put in my mugen exhaust. I am always the person to be somewhat objective, and nonbias. I've read everywhere that the single exhaust gains in hp are higher than the dual. But after putting on the mugen header a week before and putting in the mugen exhaust this past Thursday, i can actually feel the car pulling with more hp and torque. Can someone please let me know if this could be true with the mugen header and exhaust setup? One support to this conclusion would be how the stock exhaust rear resonator has a loop that seems to be for dampening the sound, and possibily loss in hp and torque. Does anyone have constructive data for this?

Another question, putting on the mugen exhaust I notice something.
The stock front resonator near the cat was not hung on the rubber hanger.
With the front resonator on the mugen exhaust and it's hook welded at a very weired angle I could not hang the front resonator (near cat) on the rubber hanger. Any one know if this will be a problem?
