Headlight aining question

Hi, guys 'n gals -

The cutoff line on my low beams is higher on the passenger side (about an inch at 10 feet), but the center of the high beam spot is higher on the driver's side (about 4 inches at 10 feet). There's only one adjuster. The H-1s are the same brand and they're seated OK. Is this the way everyone's lights are??

Thanx!

This is the way the low beam headlights are supposed to be. They are that way so the driver headlight doesn't blind on coming traffic. Not sure about your high beams?

Yeah, I'm OK with the lows - it's the highs I'm wondering about. Seems like they should both be pointing in the same direction.

There's a knurled knob in there about the size of a nickel. Use a phillips screwdriver to turn it.

The headlight are aimed that way from the factory. It does take some getting use to but they work good right where they are at. If you aim them higher you will be blinding oncoming cars. I urge you not to adjust them.

If you do adjust them be prepared to be flashed with high beams from other cars and possibly being pulled over for improperly aimed light (there are laws on the books in many states).

As for the high beams, mine light up the world. There is no cutoff. There are fantastic!
