Adding XM to the factory stereo

Howdy all! I just bought an 02 S2k and I absolutely love it. I'm wondering if anyone out there has added XM radio to their car and how they did it. I've noticed that the factory stereo has a button on it that says tape. I'm not sure if that's just generic from the factory or if the stereo actually has an input on the back for a tape deck or cd changer that I could use to plug in my XM. Anyone have any advice on this or would I be better off just taking it to a shop and having them install it for me?

I have an external XM unit with factory stereo. You can do the install yourself. All satellite units can send the signal to an unused FM station. And to enhance the sound quality, it has an adapter for the antannae plug on the back of the OEM stereo. I ran all lines under the center console. I have pix available if needed. =)

I also used and FM modualtor. I have a preset button set to the channel I have my Sirius set to. I also used Modifry's bracket to hold the unit.

Thanks guys! Is that a custom bracket you have Marlins or could i pick one of those up here in alabama?

Nice bracket!!! I just used double sided sticky and the door opens just enough for the CD.

I ordered it from Modifry. I got the 4" although the 3" may work. I had to do one small little modification so the wires would hook up correctly to the unit.
