2007 Price ?

what should I shoot for when trying to get the best price on a 07 ?
Can I get a good deal buying new over the internet ?

I just sold my 2001 Prelude and would like to stay with Honda.

Check this. It gives you the dealer costs on that car.

Try Kelly Blue Book (New Car Prices | Used Car Values - Official Kelley Blue Book Site). You can get all pricing information and info on any dealer holdbacks, special deals or discounts.

Also try New Cars and Used Cars are available at CarsDirect.com. Also, I have 2 clients that have dealer licenses and might be able to help you. If you are in San Diego, let me know if I can help.

for brand new 07 you could get it around 30000 or maybe lower
my friend got his 06 last year for 29500, I got mine this year for
32000 (had to pay extra 2g for red black interior, rarer i guess.)
if you are happened to be in Los Angeles county, try Galpin Honda in Mission Hills, I got my Jaguar from Galpin before their service and dedication to the customer is great.. good luck

just go to kbb.com look up invoice price. find out what your local dealer fee is. so invoice minus dealer fee is a good start.

Last week, I was at the Courtesy Honda Dealerships in Sanford Florida and saw that they had six S2000s, 2 Blue, yellow, Red, Silverstone and White. The white one was stickered at $31,999. The rest are at retail $35,xxx.
Grab one before they're gone. Good luck!

I don't like any dealers. Having said that, I buy some of my parts at Galpin Honda on Laurel Canyon in Mission Hills and they don't bug me too much. I bought my '07 at Hollywood Honda for $32K OTD.

Dan, you in SFV? Ever meet to drive with other s2k-ers?

Yes, I am in the valley, I have never attended any of local meetings yet (s2ki's), well I do have some friends who owns the car, usually take Topanga Canyon to PCH and drive back. Other than my friends, I havn't meet any s2kers but I do wave or honk at them when I see them on the street, most of them wave me back. Yeah, we should have SFV meet or something soon...

A meet-and-drive would be good. But Malibu is off limits on Sundays, due to increased cop presence.

Shall we discuss alternatives sometime by backchannel? dan and everyone? If we discuss it here, it could be monitored by the p.d.

Best,

Marrk

Red face 2007 Honda S2000

I just bought a new S2k and the desk manager at the Honda dealership was an old friend of mine. I got the car for 31K which is invoice on the car. MSRP is like 35k. I know they sometimes don't budge too much on these prices since there aren't too many of these cars out there. I reccomend buying on the last day of the month- and at all possible the last day of the year for the best possible price. THis is the last year they are making these so get one new while you still can! Good luck!
