s2000 intake systems?????
It's been a while since last time I've been here. Nice to be back!!!
I'm thinking about buying a mugen hood and front bumper. So what will be the best intake. I have an Injen cold air intake system, but I don't like it because it's dangerous to drive in rain. So maybe sombody could please suggest the best intake money can buy. Kevin |

I have a Weapon R intake for sale for $90.00 in the excahnge section. You wouldn't have to worry about hydrolock with this setup. It has a nice growl when you get above 5000 rpms

K&N have a Shorter version of air Intak, you don't have to worry about the rain.

the air intake
if u want to buy an intake for an s2000 your not really getting your money's worth because the car is built to its extent...the most power would be from a type of forced induction.you could get power from an intake but the amount of power is very low and most likely will not be noticeable ...and depending on the power you want and the amout of power, intakes can range by the maker of the intake and the type of intake, the cold air intake does not produce the amount of power a ram air kit would exept for the heat of the motor getting into the the ram air kit wich sums it up to about equal unless you get a heat sheild ,also the cold air intake gets more power down in the low rpm rang when the ram air kit gets the power gain from v-tec and above which i prefer for more power,if your racing because your usually around the v-tec every time you shift......check out the comptec air intake the best in the market right now
