the story of my S2000

When I got my car it didn't come with anything no wind screen, top cover not even the hook to hold the floor mats in place so I'm grabing all I can,

my car was in real bad shape when I got her two years and some work later shes looking alot better, shes going to need more work to get her in complete shape but she has it were it counts,

I had my choice of three S2000s when I went to get one, a yellow 02, a black 04 and my 00 Red the other two were in really good shape but mine was in bad shape she was not taken care of at all,

she is a low numbers car one of the first 5000 made so years down the road people will look at that and go WOW this ones still around

,

it was like going to the pound to get a puppy, my S2000 just gave me a set of puppy dog eyes, so I took her home and slowly shes getting back into shape,

but most of all shes found a new home for the rest of her days so to all the true S2000 lovers this one will be babied and shown at cars shows when the time comes and shes a classic

I know this is really lame but oh well

Hey man, that was very touching... lame, but touching. hehe. just kiddin'... but anyways, the car looked good to me on saturday as it was pulling away from me and my suzuka, disappearing around every corner.

I bought my car just out of pure spontaneity (is that a word??, ah you know what i'm tryin to say). Anyways, I was happy to find one with a glass rear window, low miles, and perfect paint/body. the blue interior is starting to grow on me... but it has definitely become an obsession of mine. I still check my garage every night before I go to bed admire the looks of it. just something about the way every line of the car flows perfectly. It's always been about the "pursuit of function," for me and I think it's the perfect car. damn it hellman, lameness is contageous.

I did the same thing when I got mine, my wife would come out and tell me to come in its time for bed LOL

thats why she calls my S2000 "the other woman" LOL

I wanted to add this before, but was havin' way too much fun bustin' your chops:
It's nice to be able to have somethin' new n' shiny n' everything works, but there's very few greater feelin's in the world than rollin' your own with the same results.
